The Transition Golf Competitive Junior Program is designed to help junior golfers who are interested in playing golf competitively or are currently playing competitively. The program is led by Certified Teaching Professional Joe Saia and consists of a monthly curriculum that puts emphasis on giving players the 1-on-1 attention and playing experience they need in order to develop their competitive skills.
Each student will receive two 60 minute private sessions per month. These sessions will include personalized instruction covering all areas of the game. Areas include long game, short game, and mental/management game. Each session will be tailored to each students needs, goals, and capabilities.
Experience and instruction on the golf course is vital for becoming a successful competitive golfer. Each student in the program will receive 3 hours total of 1-on-1 instruction on the golf course per month. Playing lessons will be tailored to fit the students needs and capabilities while focusing on developing the students playing abilities.
Group practices will be held each week for 60 minutes and will allow the students to practice each area of the game. These supervised practices will focus mainly on getting the students the reps they need in order to improve. Weekly group practices are optional
For players and parents who are new to competitive golf it can be confusing when trying to figure out which tournaments to play in and how often to play in them. Each student in the program will receive personalized guidance to help them put together a tournament schedule that fits their needs and capabilities.
Participants who have a desire to play college golf will receive guidance on recruiting and reaching out to college golf programs.
